For this week's assignment, go to http://www.flickr.com/. There will be a picture displayed on the home page. You will use this picture to work on your descriptive writing. Describe to me in detail what the picture looks like. Use the best descriptive language you can. The more descriptive your language is, the better image your readers will see in their heads when reading your description. If you do not like the picture on the home page, click the Refresh button until you see one you like.
The purple flowers are reaching for the sky. The sun is shining through their thin pedals. The clouds in the sky are puffy but not letting the sun get hidden.
ReplyDeleteEarly morning shines on the beach. The sun casts a shadow in the sandy beach. A Volleyball net is empty but it will soon have people playing in it. The beach is waiting for people to come play.
