St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!
Today, you will begin your first blog assignment. The way these blog assignments work is simple. I will post an activity or journal prompt, and you will add a comment that responds. If other students have commented before you, make sure you read their responses, and maybe try to work with what they say.

I look forward to hearing all your ideas.

Go to the following link and watch the video. Then, write 5 sentences about something interesting that you learned.

  1. I learned that St. Patrick was British. He was kidnapped from his home and became a slave. After he escaped he became a priest and helped all the Irish people. People all over the world celebrate St. Patricks Day. They wear green and cook Irish food.

  2. St. Patrick's Day is the celebration of a boy who helped the Irish people with Christianity. He taught them about God. He used to be a slave. Irish people came to America. People wear green on St. Patrick's day to remember him.
