For your assignment this week, you will use the following websites to learn about one famous woman in history. Type a paragraph of information about her and her accomplishments as a comment to this post. Have fun with this project. Try to find someone you are really interested in!

St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!
Today, you will begin your first blog assignment. The way these blog assignments work is simple. I will post an activity or journal prompt, and you will add a comment that responds. If other students have commented before you, make sure you read their responses, and maybe try to work with what they say.

I look forward to hearing all your ideas.

Go to the following link and watch the video. Then, write 5 sentences about something interesting that you learned.

Hello!

Hi! My name is Ashley Mitchell. I am not yet a teacher, but I am currently applying for elementary teaching positions in Tangipahoa Parish. I would like to teach 3rd grade. ELA is my favorite content area. I love to watch the Food Network and learn new recipes, but I stink at actually cooking them! :)

Since I am not yet a teacher, I will post information that I would post if I were teaching a fifth grade class. This will be our ELA blog. Hypothetically, I would post journal prompts, writing assignments, etc. to this blog, and students would comment on my post to respond. I will use two students from another teacher's classroom to work with the blog and comment on my posts.
